Today Started with noon. Wake up and straight get to my pc infront of my bed. (as usual). Trying to pickup where I've left the last time.
The last thing i search for makes me interested. which is the dynamic caching of web content such as youtube and other server side generated content. I last time ran into Lusca and have tried to pair it with ubuntu server 10.10 in a virtualbox and attached it with my network. but instead of having performance boost in my network, my brother complained that the connection is alot slower than the usual.
So i think something wrong. I think its something of the packaging or something else since i knew so much little about programming moreover in linux environment.
Get google do the work for me and ran into some site that bring me to a conclussion that i have to patch squid manually and get my hand dirty with a distro i never imagine i would use. The FreeBSD and/or CentOS.
So this afternoon i go hunting to Pajus and get myself a copy DVD of several titles namely, FreeBSD 7.2, CentOS 5, Microsoft Flight Simulator (a game i have wanting for a month) X, Tron:Evolution, COD : Blackops , and a MS SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition. Geez that cost me a hundred grands.
Ok so now in to the mud!
Decided to Install FreeBSD on VirtualBox. I get a MAJOR headache in an instance. Presented with low GUI makes me feel its gonna be a hard ride ahead. So i brace my self and set my mind that i have to achieve the SUPER PROXY stuffs people have been mentioning lately.
There done at last. now on to program installation.
